Property Law changes seminar

QLS is holding a Property Law seminar – Modern times, modern act: The new Property Law Act – in Brisbane tomorrow, June 16.

More than 60 people will attend the sold-out event, which will review the Property Law Bill 2023.

The seminar will feature Professor Sharon Christensen, who is Head of Law School at the Queensland University of Technology and a member of the QLS Property and Development Law Committee, and Professor Bill Duncan, from the Queensland University of Technology.

They will cover what provisions have been changed or redrafted, the mandatory seller disclosure regime (and its exceptions) and incorporation of contemporary language.

Rukshana Sashankan, General Manager – Practitioners, Property Exchange Australia Ltd (PEXA), will chair the first session on What’s the latest and what’s changed?

Mitchell Burge, National Sales Manager, triSearch, will chair the final session on Common problems and the new Property Law Act.

Although the event is fully booked, the seminar recording will later be made available at the QLS Shop.
