Outgoing CEO Rolf Moses
Mr Moses said: “I expected to remain in the role for the initial four-year term, but with the amount of work required and the disruption of the COVID years, committing to six years was ultimately the right duration to deliver the COVID relief package to the profession and see through the other major projects before passing the role on to the next leader.
“It is both personally rewarding and a privilege to lead and work with the QLS team and Council to serve the members and the profession which I have been a part of since 1997.
“I am also very proud of the work we have achieved as a team during my term at QLS which will position the Society for a very positive future.”
QLS President Chloé Kopilović expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for Mr Moses’ remarkable contributions when making the 7 August announcement.
“I have been fortunate to work with Rolf throughout his tenure and be first-hand witness to his achievements,” she said.
“Throughout Rolf’s long association with the Society, his unwavering dedication, strategic vision and commitment to excellence have left an indelible legacy.
“The refurbishment of Law Society House and years of advocacy and education for better mental health and workplace culture outcomes for the profession are examples of the work that Rolf and the QLS team together with successive Councils have delivered.
“Rolf’s leadership has resulted in innovative and valued member offerings and steered the Society towards continued success and growth. His impact will be felt for years to come.”
