The Sunshine Coast law community hit the greens earlier this month to network, socialise, and raise money for Suncoast Community Legal Service (SCLS).
The Sunshine Coast Law Association’s (SCLA) annual Charity Golf Day was held at Twin Waters Golf Course on 11 August, attracting players and sponsorship from local businesses and firms.
Funds raised (which have yet to be tallied) will help the SCLS run its Community Lawyer graduate program, which will have an early career lawyer working in community outreach under the supervision of new principal solicitor John Shanahan.
