Career Moves: Gnech and Associates

Gnech and Associates are pleased to announce two promotions Nichale Bool to Senior Associate and Anna Waite to Associate.

Nichale has been working with the firm since 2021 firstly as a solicitor, Associate and now Senior Associate.  Admitted in 2014, Nichale has extensive experience across the Queensland justice system.


Nichale Bool

Before joining Gnech and Associates, Nichale was an accomplished prosecutor for the Queensland Police Service.  Previously Nichale has experience with the Director of Public Prosecutions Office. 

Nichale now practices predominately in her areas of expertise, criminal defence, domestic violence and disciplinary law.  She has particular expertise and interest in domestic violence matters and is highly experienced at representing both aggrieved and respondent spouses.

Anna has been working with the firm since 2020.  Anna is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.


Anna Waite

Anna predominately practises in criminal defence, domestic violence, discipline, human rights and anti-discrimination law. She regularly instructs on criminal jury trials for serious criminal offences and appears as a solicitor advocate on summary sentences and bail applications.

Anna is also highly experienced in matters before the Queensland and Australian Human Rights Commission, the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC), Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) and Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT). 

Anna also forms part of Gnech & Associates management team as a Legal Practice Manager.
