Mahoneys Partners are pleased to announce Sabrina Austin has been promoted to Associate and Nicola Richards to Senior Lawyer, effective 1 January 2024.


Sabrina Austin

Sabrina is in the commercial team working alongside the commercial partner, Antony Harrison.

Sabrina’s clients include high net-worth individuals, start-ups, medical practices; small to medium-sized enterprises and large national corporations. She has experience working with business owners, management, in-house legal teams and other key stakeholders.

Sabrina focuses on providing pragmatic commercial advice to her clients. She prides herself on taking the time to get to know each client’s individual needs and objectives to manage their expectations, identify legal risks and achieve the best possible legal and commercial outcomes.


Nicola Richards

Nicola is in the commercial litigation team working closely with Ben Seccombe.

Admitted as a solicitor in 2019, Nicola gained experience in a boutique commercial and tax firm prior to commencing practice in litigation.

Nicola has experience in areas of law including general commercial litigation, dispute resolution, debt recovery and insolvency. Her recent experience includes acting for creditors in winding up applications and bankruptcy proceedings; acting for clients in both commencing and defending debt recovery proceedings, including advice on issuing and defending statutory demands; and advising and acting for clients in claims concerning residential building contracts.

The promotions reflect a commitment to personal growth and acknowledge the role they have played in the firm’s success.
