Chief Magistrate Janelle Brassington tops the list and will be joined in Brisbane on 23 May by Magistrates from across the state in Michelle Howard, Dzenita Balic, Bronwyn Hartigan, Louisa Pink, Patrina Clohessy, Veena Goverdhan, Cathy McLennan, Janice Crawford and Sandra Pearson.

WLAQ Vice President Sarah Ford said the association was overjoyed with the response from the magistracy and members to the event, with 45 attendee places almost filled.

“This special Breakfast Club follows on from the success of last year’s, at which we had record attendance numbers and received overwhelmingly positive feedback,” Sarah said.

“It provides members with an opportunity to meet our magistrates and socialise with them in a relaxed environment outside of the courtroom.”

Sarah said WLAQ hoped to make this Breakfast Club an annual event.

“We can’t wait to chat to our members after the event to hear about how much they enjoyed the morning. It certainly is a wonderful way to start the day,” she said.

The WLAQ’s May Breakfast Club for May will be held at Sage on Ann cafe, Brisbane City, on Thursday, 23 May, from 7.15am to 8.30am. Register here.
