James Cook University Law Students Society (JCULSS) will host a colourful Pride in Law Lunch in Townsville next week.
Students, members of the profession and allies are invited to the Bebegu Yumba Campus, Douglas, to hear a panel discuss LGBTQIA+ topics relevant to young lawyers and students, while enjoying a free light lunch.
Pride in Law (Queensland Chapter) President Duncan MacDougal; Ruhl Family Law Partner Diane Ruhl, JCU Student Association President Chey Hamilton, LGBTQIA Alliance Rainbow Lounge’s Amelia Llewellyn, and Manager JCU Wellbeing Kate Sheppard will make up the panel, chaired by College of Law Executive Director Ann-Maree David.
