The Supreme Court of Queensland will welcome two new justices next week, and the Coroners Court two new coroners.
Brisbane barristers Michael Copley KC and Rebecca Treston KC will join the bench on Wednesday; and former Chief Legal Counsel for Queensland Health, Megan Fairweather, and Brisbane barrister Amanda Bain, will begin their coroner roles on Tuesday.
Also announced today was the elevation of Supreme Court Justice Susan Brown KC to the Court of Appeal. She will begin her role on 25 June.
