Career Moves: Travis Schultz & Partners

Travis Schultz & Partners (TSP) continues its strategic growth with the recent appointment of Accredited Specialist Nickelle Morris as Special Counsel at their new Southport office.

With more than two decades of experience in personal injury law, Nickelle brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise and a passion for advocating for her clients’ rights.

Nickelle, who joined the profession in 1998, has extensive experience in representing clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries or lost loved ones. She joins Karla Macpherson on the Gold Coast.

“Being a personal injury lawyer is both rewarding and humbling. It’s an honour to help people during some of the most challenging times in their lives, when their world has been turned upside down by an injury,” Nickelle said.

“My role involves not just navigating the legal system, but also ensuring that my clients receive the right support and compensation to aid in their recovery and rehabilitation. It’s about making a positive impact on their lives.”

With the Gold Coast expansion, TSP now boasts a team of 22 lawyers across Queensland, including six Accredited Specialists.

Nickelle has received several accolades throughout her career, including the Highest Achiever Award when she became an Accredited Specialist in 2022. She completed the Queensland Law Society’s Practice Management Course in 2017.

Beyond her legal practice, she is an active member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance (ALA), where she serves on the Regional and Rural and NIIS/CTP subcommittees. She is also a member of the Gold Coast District Law Association (GCDLA) and the Women Lawyers Association Queensland (WLAQ).
