A bus trip and a barbecue will provide plenty of time for networking on the first day of the Queensland Environmental Law Association’s Regional Intensive on September 3-4.
Return coach transfers from Cairns to Port Douglas are included in the ticket price, as is a Tropical Nights BBQ welcome function on the Thursday evening at the host venue, Sheraton Grand Mirage.
The one-day intensive program on the Friday from 9am to 4.30pm will focus on topical regional content, with presenters including Planning and Environment Court Judge Nicole Kefford, Land Court President Peta Stilgoe, barristers, and representatives from tourism and local government.
The event will end with a “coastal cocktail” dinner that evening.
