IP Australia has finalised its quadrennial fee review, updating some of its charges to continue covering the costs of administering intellectual property (IP) rights and related legislation.
The fee changes will be implemented from midnight on 1 October 2024 and affect all IP Australia administered IP Rights.
IP Australia reviews fees every four years, with the last update in October 2020. The latest fee review started in 2023, aligning with IP Australia’s commitment to keeping our cost recovery arrangements consistent with the Australian Government Charging Policy.
