Contaminated land – Legal and practical perspectives is the topic of a Queensland Environmental Law Association (QELA) seminar next week.
Seminar speakers are Rebecca Hoare, Norton Rose Fulbright; Neil Sutherland, Director Gilbert + Sutherland; and Luke Amies, principal environmental scientist from Epic Environmental.
The seminar, on 24 October, will be chaired by Robyn Lamb from HopgoodGanim Lawyers.
It will provide insight into duties and obligations under the Environmental Protection Act 1994 including an update about recent legislative changes; practical perspectives on contamination issues including site management, client communication and expert evidence; and key trends and considerations of PFAS contamination and regulation.
It will be held at HopgoodGanim Lawyers, level 7, Waterfront Place, Eagle Street, from 5-7pm.
