Career Moves: Mullins Lawyers

Brisbane-based law firm Mullins Lawyers has announced the promotion of eight lawyers, including Annabelle Efstathis and Glen Rolley as new Partners in the firm’s property and hospitality practice.

Annabelle and Glen bring a wealth of expertise and a shared commitment to achieving exceptional results for their clients across the property, hospitality, and licensing sectors.


Annabelle Efstathis

Annabelle, who joined Mullins in 2016, is celebrated for her expertise in commercial property transactions, leasing, and liquor and gaming licensing. She has played a pivotal role in advising on greenfield hotel and club developments, and complex licensing applications; and has tailored strategies for some of Australia’s most ambitious projects.


Glen Rolley

Glen, with Mullins since 2019, specialises in property, commercial, and liquor and gaming law, with a strong focus on the acquisition and disposal of clubs, and commercial properties. He also has a unique background in sports law, having chaired disciplinary tribunals for major sporting organisations.

Together, Annabelle and Glen have collaborated with Australia’s leading hotel, pub and club groups.

Rachel Lusis and Juanita Maiden

Mullins Lawyers has also promoted Juanita Maiden and Rachel Lusis to Special Counsel. Juanita, a seasoned commercial lawyer within the Business Services practice, brings significant expertise in sports law, while Rachel, from the firm’s Private Client group, is a specialist in estate litigation.


Shane Lawlor, Joanne De Jesus and Bronte Jackson

Further promotions include Shane Lawlor from the insurance practice advancing to Senior Associate, alongside Joanne De Jesus and Bronte Jackson from the business services group, and Emma Carr from the litigation team, who have been promoted to Associate.
