Career Moves: Sparke Helmore

Sparke Helmore is pleased to announce that Jackson Inglis has been appointed as the Brisbane Local Managing Partner effective this month.

Jackson is an Accredited Specialist in Workplace Law and has extensive experience in all aspects of employment, regulatory and safety law, including responding to serious workplace incidents and regulatory investigations.

He is highly experienced in employment litigation matters before the Federal Circuit Court, Federal Court and Fair Work Commission, as well as safety matters in the Queensland jurisdiction.

Jackson said: “We have a very talented group of people with more to join us soon. Being appointed LMP at this exciting time of growth will, I am sure, bring us a great deal of success as well as its own unique challenges.

“I am thrilled to have the support of the Partners in helping us achieve our goals through this appointment and build on Matt’s terrific work.”

The firm also thanked Partner Matthew Hawker for his contribution during his time as Brisbane LMP. Matthew held this position from 1 January 2023 and successfully led the Brisbane office through significant growth while fostering a thriving office culture.
