International audience on way

The biennial KILN Conferences have been held in Fiji in 2018 (pictured) and 2020.

Practitioners from around the world will gather in Brisbane next month for the Kingdom International Legal Network (KILN) biennial conference.

The organisation, which was founded in 2017 by Brisbane firm Vocare Law and Fijian firm Shekinah Law, has gathered speakers from Singapore, Fiji, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, New Zealand, Canada, England and America for its three-day event.

Court of Appeal President Debra Mullins is opening keynote speaker for the conference, which has the theme Justice on the Edge, inspired by the book of Amos in the Bible.

It will explore issues in family law, child protection, First Nations law, estate law, youth offending, migration, and employment and disability, with a view to strengthening ties between Christian lawyers globally.
