Four judges speaking at advocacy workshop

His Honour Judge Everson, Her Honour Judge Kefford, His Honour Judge Williamson KC and Her Honour Judge McDonnell will speak at an advocacy workshop for early career lawyers next week. 

Together with the judges of the Planning and Environment Court, QELA will host the workshop on Thursday, 27 March 2025. 

Attendees will participate in mock applications/reviews before a judge of the Planning and Environment Court.

This workshop is an opportunity for early career lawyers to practise their advocacy skills, receive feedback from the bench and debrief with experienced practitioners. 

The workshop is most likely to benefit applicants with six months to six years of post-admission experience who have appeared in the Planning and Environment Court on at least one occasion. 

The workshop will be held from 5pm to 8.30pm at the Supreme and District Court, 415 George Street, Brisbane. It will be chaired by Robyn Lamb, Partner, HopgoodGanim Lawyers, and Ronald Yuen, Barrister, Byth Chambers.
