Women Lawyers Association of Queensland (WLAQ) is looking for two of its members to join its Criminal Lawyers Sub-Committee.
The sub-committee’s objectives include increasing collegiality among female criminal lawyers, and advocating and raising awareness about issues impacting them.
Activities include hosting events, holding meetings and preparing submissions in response to requests from government agencies.
To be eligible, a lawyer must practise (or have practised substantially) in criminal law, and be a current WLAQ member.
An expression of interest should include a brief professional bio, and how you could further the objectives and activities of the sub-committee.
EOIs should be emailed to events@wlaq.com.au by 21 March 2025.
