Former Federal Communications Minister Michelle Rowland has today been named as the new Attorney-General.
She replaces Mark Dreyfus, who served as Attorney-General between February 2013-September 2013 and then 2022-2025, in the national cabinet.
Ms Rowland served as Minister of Communications between 2022-2025.
She received her Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, and was a senior lawyer at Gilbert and Tobin from 2000 to 2010.
