Managing Director Cameron Browne said Jack’s appointment reflected his diligence as a criminal lawyer.

“He has added to his skillset by consistently mentoring the firm’s emerging practitioners,” he said.

Cameron noted Ashleigh’s move to Associate follows her longstanding tenure in the firm’s litigation department and “noteworthy compassion for people experiencing the challenges of legal proceedings”.

Ashleigh’s disability and permanent impairment advocacy has been the subject of numerous awards including being named one of the 60 most influential people in Multiple Sclerosis Queensland’s 60-year history.

Cameron also acknowledged Billy Gee’s “growth as an enthusiastic, hard-working and thoughtful criminal lawyer”.
