Andrew McCormack named as Partner in Brisbane construction team

Andrew McCormack is a Partner in the construction and infrastructure team based in Brisbane, effective 11 May.

McCullough Robertson Lawyers has announced Andrew McCormack as a Partner in the construction and infrastructure team based in Brisbane, from this week.

Mr McCormack joins McCullough Robertson from Ashurst where he spent four years as a Partner.

He brings extensive front-end experience across major projects in the infrastructure, energy, resources and property development sectors. His appointment supports the continued growth of McCullough Robertson’s Construction and Infrastructure team in Brisbane, following recent expansion in Sydney.

Recently, Mr McCormack has been a lead partner servicing Queensland Government and the Games Independent Infrastructure Construction Authority, which aligns strongly with the firm’s focus on infrastructure and State Government work.

Damien Clarke, Joint Managing Partner, said: “As we celebrate our firm’s centenary, we are firmly focused on the future and Andrew’s appointment is extremely exciting for our clients and our Brisbane office.

“His depth of front-end experience across complex infrastructure and energy projects, and his track record in delivering outcomes for major public and private sector stakeholders, will add further strength to our national construction offering.”

Kristan Conlon, McCullough Robertson Chair of Partners, said: “I am delighted to welcome Andrew to the partnership, as we continue to grow our construction and infrastructure team nationally.

“Andrew is a highly regarded practitioner in the market and a great cultural fit for McR, and I know our people and clients will value his collaborative style and commitment to excellence.”
