The Sunshine Coast Law Association (SCLA) will encourage solicitors to protect their own financial futures when it hosts this year’s Richard Williams Memorial Lecture.
Mitchell Solicitors Principal Bryan Mitchell, a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Succession Law, will present on succession planning for solicitors at the CPD session in Maroochydore on Monday, 27 July.
The event will explore the importance of succession planning, estate planning, asset protection, wealth management and superannuation considerations for legal professionals, providing practical guidance for solicitors at every stage of their career.
The event is held in honour of a Brisbane barrister who passed away in 2019.
It will run from 5.30pm to 7pm in the Black Swan Room, Maroochydore Surf Club, and is free for SCLA members. Tickets here.
