Rose Litigation Lawyers has announced three promotions, with Alexander Gregg elevated to Partner, and Emma Alford and Georgina Rigg promoted to Associate.
Mr Gregg is a Brisbane-based litigator with substantial experience in commercial litigation, acting for clients in superior courts across Australia.
Before joining Rose Litigation Lawyers, he built his career at prominent insurance and litigation firms including Wotton + Kearney, Clyde & Co and Bartley Cohen, developing expertise in insurance disputes, shareholder disputes, oppression claims, fraud, professional negligence and breach of contract.
Since joining the firm, he has acted on a range of complex, high-value matters including multi-party property development litigation, professional indemnity and liability insurance disputes resulting in indemnification outcomes exceeding $10 million, and professional negligence claims against accountants and financial advisers, recovering more than $5 million in damages.
Managing partner and founder Shaun Rose said the appointment reflected both Mr Gregg’s calibre and the firm’s direction.
“Alex has been an outstanding contributor to the firm and to our firm’s clients,” Mr Rose said.
“His expertise across complex commercial disputes is exceptional, and his approach – practical, solution-focused and always client-first – is exactly what we look for in our partners.
“His promotion reflects the continued growth of our firm in our key areas of specialty in the South-East Queensland market.”
Ms Alford, based on the Gold Coast, joined Rose Litigation as a law clerk before being admitted in 2024. She practises across commercial litigation, insolvency and debt recovery, with particular interests in financial services law, building and construction disputes, and defamation.
Ms Rigg, also based on Gold Coast, was admitted in 2024. She practises across litigation, business disputes and regulatory and government matters, bringing a practical, client-centred approach to complex legal challenges.
