Practitioners have the chance to stay warm and learn about pro bono work later this month when the Far North Queensland Law Association offers a Fireside Chat.
Nareeta Davis, Senior Associate and Pro Bono Lawyer from Ashurst Perkins Coie, will speak about the world of pro bono legal practice at the lunch event at Piccolo Cucina on Wednesday, 29 July.
Ms Davis will share her experiences working in this rewarding area of law, discuss the importance of offering pro bono service, and provide practical guidance for those interested in incorporating pro bono work into their careers.
The session is suitable for students, graduates, early-career lawyers and experienced practitioners.
