The Medico Legal Society of Queensland will look at the impact of AI, at its annual conference on the Gold Coast this week.
Over Friday and Saturday, the conference with the theme The Fallible Mind: decision-making, bias and AI in health and law will explore the complex interplay between human judgment and emerging technologies in healthcare and legal settings.
It will provide a forum to reflect on these challenges, consider practical implications, and explore how systems and safeguards can support fairer, more reliable outcomes.
The conference, aimed at medical and legal practitioners, will be held on 4 and 5 September at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa, Surfers Paradise. Register here.
