Commercial Litigation/Dispute Resolution Lawyer

You’ll take carriage of matters (with appropriate supervision), be a key contact for clients, and work closely with the principal on larger disputes. You’ll work on interesting commercial litigation across multiple jurisdictions, and your work will be predominantly disputes-focused, such as: * Commercial litigation: contractual disputes, shareholder/director disputes, business break-ups * Property litigation: sale/lease disputes, caveats, encroachments, easements, defects and delay claims * Insolvency and recovery: statutory demands, insolvent trading issues, enforcement, judgment recovery * Interlocutory applications: injunctions, urgent relief, security for costs, strike-out/summary judgment * Dispute resolution: mediations, settlement conferences, without prejudice negotiations. * Court work: drafting pleadings, deeds of settlement, evidence, submissions, and appearing (as appropriate) at Queensland courts.
