About Sarah-Elke Kraal

Sarah-Elke Kraal is a Queensland Law Society Senior Professional Development Solicitor. Sarah started out as a starving artist and musician before finding her second calling in the legal sector. From 2012 to 2016, she practised across a number of areas of law whilst simultaneously developing a keen interest in education, innovation and funnelling her multiple neuroses into writing. Motivated to apply her own unique experiences in legal practice to support other humans in law, Sarah joined QLS in early 2016 as a conference designer and, in 2017, she followed her curiosity to QUT where she sometimes moonlights as a sessional academic. Sarah enjoys writing about absolutely nothing of substance in her QLS Proctor column, Barefoot & Professional, and has also recently started doodling Awkward Elevator Conversations – a comic the critics are calling “if I say it’s good will you leave me alone?”.
