Queensland Corrective Services has moved to stage 4 restrictions (centre lockdown) for centres up to and including Maryborough.
Members are advised that prisoner transports will be affected today.
Prisoners required to appear in court via videoconference will be presented, also likely with the use of face masks.
The affected correctional centres are:
- Maryborough Correctional Centre
- Woodford Correctional Centre
- Southern Queensland Correctional Centre
- Helena Jones Centre
- Borallon Training and Correctional Centre
- Brisbane Women’s Correctional Centre
- Brisbane Correctional Centre
- Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre
- Numinbah Correctional Centre
- Palen Creek Correctional Centre
The Society is continuing to liaise with Queensland Corrective Services and will provide further updates as and when they become available.
