The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has made a ‘class exemption’ that will allow small businesses to collectively bargain with customers or suppliers and allow franchisees and fuel retailers (regardless of size) to collectively bargain with their respective franchisor or fuel wholesaler.
The class exemption will be ready for businesses to use in early 2021. More information can be found on the ACCC website.
