Brisbane-based criminal and family law practice KLM Solicitors has welcomed Shaun Kolo as a Senior Associate and announced plans to open its fourth office, located in the Brisbane CBD.
Shaun’s appointment follows a move by former Senior Associate Shannon Bownds to a new role as National Assistant Registrar for the Family Court, based in Brisbane.

KLM Solicitors founder and Principal Solicitor Kelli Martin said Shannon’s appointment was a natural progression for the experienced family lawyer, given her commitment to access to justice.
“I’m excited to see one of our talented team members move into a role that will be central to improving the day-to-day workings of the Family Court,” Ms Martin said.

Shaun has more than seven years of experience, practising in family law, domestic violence, child protection law and criminal law.
He will practise primarily in family law at KLM’s Nundah office until the firm’s new CBD premises open in the next few months.
