First Nations clerkship offer at LAQ

Legal Aid Queensland (LAQ) is seeking First Nations law students interested in civil law, including anti-discrimination and employment law, to apply for the ‘First Nations Extended Clerkship’.

This is a paid Brisbane-based employment opportunity (on a full-time or part-time basis for a 12-month period) which would involve working in LAQ’s civil law team and delivering administrative services to vulnerable and disadvantaged people. The successful student(s) will also be exposed to a variety of civil law jurisdictions and be mentored by senior lawyers.
