The Chief Judge yesterday issued a new practice direction for the Planning and Environment Court – Practice Direction No.2 of 2022.
It provides that any practitioner or unrepresented party who is not fully vaccinated – or is aware a client, witness or other person attending court with them is not – should:
- notify the court via the relevant registry at least 24 hours before attending the court building
- ensure the person not fully vaccinated is made aware of this directive.
The practice direction also details face mask and distancing requirements, and use of the ‘Check In Qld’ app.
