Queensland Law Society is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons for the role of chair of its Finance and Risk Committee.
The QLS Finance and Risk Committee assists the Council in discharging its responsibilities in relation to financial reporting, overseeing the Society’s finances, investments, internal control framework and risk management.
The Society is seeking an independent chair to lead the committee for a three-year term from 1 July 2022. Among the required qualifications, candidates must be independent of QLS (not a QLS member) and be a qualified accountant holding a current qualification (CA or CPA).
