North Queensland’s Mareeba Courthouse will be closed for minor works for two weeks later this month.
A Queensland Courts spokesperson said that the courthouse, 60km south-west of Cairns, was currently scheduled to close from 23 May to 3 June.
“There will be no registry staff in attendance or any court sittings at Mareeba during the period of the closure,” the spokesperson said. “Emails and phone calls will continue to be monitored during the period of the closure.”
Normal court sittings at Mareeba will resume on Monday 6 June.
