The Department of Employment, Small Business and Training has advised that technical issues affecting Round 3 of the Business Basics grants program have forced the application process to close.
The department said applications for Round 3 of the grants program were due to open at 9am today, but unprecedented nationwide technical issues with the application portal (SmartyGrants) had forced a decision to stop the application process in order to maintain equity and transparency.
The department apologised for the interruption and said an update with a revised opening date and time would be provided once the issues were resolved.
