Call for nominations – Queensland Heritage Council

Queensland Law Society has been invited to nominate suitable candidates for consideration for appointment to the Queensland Heritage Council.

If you are interested in being nominated by QLS, please email submissions@qls.com.au  by COB Wednesday 29 June with the following:

  1. a completed and signed Queensland Government Personal Particulars Form
  2. a brief curriculum vitae
  3. a statement of your suitability based on the role and selection criteria
  4. a statement that you are willing to be appointed to the Queensland Heritage Council if you are selected by the Governor in Council to take up office on the Council.

The Queensland Law Society Executive Committee will consider nominations and forward all EOIs received* to the Queensland Heritage Council in early July 2022.

Please note that it is the policy of the Queensland Government to support and encourage equity and diversity on its boards and consequently, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, women, people with expertise in multiculturalism, young people, people with disabilities, people from rural and remote areas and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to nominate.
