Attorney-General Shannon Fentiman has invited expressions of interest from people interested in appointment as a legal member of the Prostitution Licensing Authority.
The authority is established under the Prostitution Act 1999 and is responsible for the regulation of prostitution in Queensland. Under the Act, one of the members of the authority is to be a lawyer who has been admitted for at least five years and has knowledge of or experience in administrative law, company law or criminal law (legal member).
