QLS to host inaugural mental health forum

Queensland Law Society will host its inaugural ‘Thinking Out Loud’ mental health forum next month.

The forum, which aims to equip practitioners with the skills necessary to maintain good mental health and wellbeing, will be held at Law Society House, Brisbane, from 2pm to 6.30pm on 11 October.

The forum coincides with Queensland’s Mental Health Week events. It will include a panel of legal professionals sharing their practical insights, consider mental health in a personal and work context, and identify tips on how you can cope in times of challenge as well as support those around you.

The in-person only forum will provide attendees with an afternoon of learning, exploration and connection with their peers.

An expert group of presenters will provide opportunities for practitioners to discuss and think about mental health as it pertains to individuals, work colleagues, family and friends.

Members will earn 3 CDPS by attending. Register to attend or see the forum program.
