Travis Schultz & Partners has announced the appointment of Greg Spinda as a Special Counsel within the firm’s Sunshine Coast practice.

Greg is a Queensland Law Society accredited specialist in personal injuries and has worked in this practice area since 2005, with a particular interest in complex and severe injuries and multi-trauma. He completed a Master of Laws (Health Law) in 2019, during which he focused on issues involving the National Disability Insurance Scheme and National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland.
Greg is also involved with various committees including as Chair of the QLS Practice Management Course committee, and as a state committee member and former Queensland president of the Australian Lawyers Alliance (ALA). He represented ALA in the 2018 review of the workers’ compensation scheme, as well as in collaborating with the Queensland government to introduce claims farming legislation in 2019 and 2022. Â
