Your library offers virtual CPD sessions

Supreme Court Library Queensland has announced that bookings are open for a series of virtual CPD sessions this year.

Though the series has been developed for newly admitted lawyers, those not-so-newly admitted or not-yet-lawyers are also very welcome to register!

The sessions are:

  • 9 March at 4pm: Free library resources for you! Discover where you can find free legal information with your law library.
  • 20 April at 4pm: (Virtual) Tour of your law library. Explore the online services your law library provides its members on a virtual guided tour.
  • 8 June at 4pm: QSIS and sentencing. Investigate your law library’s new QSIS interface and learn how to get access to sentencing statistics and transcripts.
  • 3 August at 4pm: Everything you need to know about locating legislation and legislative materials online. Take a deep dive into legislation and the legislative process with your law library.
  • 9 November at 4pm: Researching for practice. Explore the material available online to help you prepare for and come to court.
