Queensland Law Society (QLS) will celebrate the high achievers in the profession at the Best Lawyers Breakfast on Thursday.
Over a gourmet breakfast at Customs House in Brisbane, QLS will salute lawyers who have been recognised by its Excellence in Law Awards, or by publications such as Best Lawyers, Doyle’s Guide, Chambers Asia Pacific, Legal 500 Asia Pacific and Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30.
QLS Immediate Past President Kara Thomson will give an opening address, then Professor Nick James, Executive Dean of Bond University’s Faculty of Law, will deliver a sponsor’s welcome.
After breakfast is served, the more than 100 attendees will hear from guest speaker Claudia Cameron, CS Energy’s General Counsel.
Ms Cameron was last year’s QLS In-House Counsel of the Year, and has more than more than 20 years’ experience in corporate legal governance and procurement.
