Level three of the refurbished Law Society House at 179 Ann Street, Brisbane, is available to lease through JLL.
Chief Financial Officer Peter Gamin said the building refurbishment was expected to be completed next month (October 2023).
“The area for lease is 767sq m. It has refurbished bathrooms as well as access to end-of-trip facilities and ground-floor cafe,” he said.
“The building refurbishment started last year, with architects BVN and builders FDC undertaking the work.”
Key outcomes for the refurbishment include:
Establishing a hub for the profession, designed to foster connection and collegiality among members;
Designing the building to be accessible, functional and inspirational for all members;
Developing a versatile, modern facility that offers increased capacity for conference and meeting rooms, mediation and arbitration facilities, social event spaces and a business centre;
Creating a workspace for staff that is modern, collaborative, functional and attractive.
Queensland Law Society staff will remain on levels four and five, with level six featuring a new members lounge including a business centre and co-working spaces.
