Travis Schultz & Partners (TSP) has welcomed Senior Associate Jonathon Wright to the Brisbane office of the compensation law firm.

With Jonathon’s appointment and new Partners announced, the TSP team expands to move than 60 staff across four locations in Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Cairns and the Gold Coast.
Jonathon has significant expertise representing clients under the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (Qld), with a focus on acting for WorkCover Queensland and large, self-insured entities. His area of focus extends across the entire spectrum of workers’ compensation claims, encompassing statutory claims, pre-proceedings and litigation.
Having started his career acting for defendants, Jonathon also successfully managed a substantial portfolio of personal injury claims under the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002 and the Motor Accident Insurance Act 1994. His clientele includes both private entities and government clients, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the legal nuances in these matters.
Jonathon’s expertise is not limited to legal proceedings; he also shares his knowledge by presenting at industry seminars. His topics, such as an employer’s duty of care, considerations for flexible work arrangements, and managing contributory negligence, showcase his commitment to educating and advocating for a fair and safe work environment.
