Supreme Court of Queensland Chief Justice Bowskill issued several Practice Directions yesterday covering a range of topics below:

• Practice Direction 6 of 2024 – Repeal of Practice Directions
• Practice Direction 7 of 2024 – Setting Trial Dates – Supreme Court Brisbane
• Practice Direction 8 of 2024 – Approval of Publication – Applications for Admission
• Practice Direction 9 of 2024 – Approval of Publication – Applications for Grant
• Practice Direction 10 of 2024 – Registrar’s power to hear and decide applications in relation to will attested by only one witness
• Practice Direction 11 of 2024 – Registrar’s power to hear and decide applications for extension of time to object to item in costs statement
• Practice Direction 12 of 2024 – Excusal from jury service
