The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia has released a new practice and procedure update.
Several court forms require amendments due to the commencement of the Family Law Amendment Act 2023 and the Family Law (Information Sharing) Act 2023 (the Family Law Act Amendments).
There are also several forms that have updates which are unrelated to the Family Law Act Amendments.
To allow parties and practitioners to prepare for the changes, exposure copies of the new forms are available in this update. They should be filed on or after 6 May 2024.
Information about grace periods for the use of old forms is provided in the update.
