Exhibit examines jury service

The latest Supreme Court Library Queensland exhibition – We, The Jury – which explores the different aspects of jury service and how it contributes to the delivery of justice, opened this week in Brisbane.

The exhibit highlights a case study of women’s journeys to greater equality in this civic forum for the past 100 years, and encourages visitors to consider the future of representation and democracy for jury systems, specifically representation for First Nations and people living with disability.

There is free entry to the exhibit which runs to 31 December 2026.

It is open Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 4.30pm, in the Sir Harry Gibbs Legal Heritage Centre, Ground floor, Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law.
