Webinar to launch disaster toolkit

Justice Connect has launched a Disaster Legal Toolkit to help not-for-profit organisations navigate disaster-related legal questions and issues.

A free webinar will be held on 20 February to launch the resources.

During the disaster lifecycle, existing legal problems can worsen, and new legal questions emerge. The resources will help practitioners identify legal issues, understand the information and legislation to manage these issues, and take action to prevent or resolve legal issues.

The free webinar to celebrate the launch of the resources will cover:

• insights from the development of the resources;
• examples of common legal issues that can arise;
• what organisations can do to improve governance and disaster risk management practices and ensure a safe workplace that protects employees and volunteers.
