Expressions of interest (EOIs) are open to join a Sexual Violence Review Board to identify and review systemic issues in relation to the reporting, investigation, and prosecution of sexual offences.
The Department of Youth Justice and Victim Support is seeking people with professional experience and skills in supporting victims of sexual violence; people who have professional experience and skills in dealing with sexual violence in Queensland’s court system; and people with lived experience of sexual violence.
The board will review government policy and practices, provide recommendations about systemic improvements and oversee the implementation of those recommendations.
The board will meet at least four times a year.
