QLRC to debut at Symposium

The Queensland Law Reform Commission (QLRC) will seek input from practitioners when it exhibits at the Queensland Law Society Symposium for the first time next Friday, March 21.

Glen Cranny, QLRC Member and Managing Director of Gilshenan & Luton, will be on hand at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre to discuss the Commission’s reviews of particular criminal offences and non-fatal strangulation in a domestic setting.

Glen is a QLS Senior Counsellor, former Criminal Law Committee chair, and Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law.

He will chair the Sentencing: Legal Updates and Practical Tips session, one of 37 on offer at this year’s conference which covers family, succession, criminal, property, personal injuries, and commercial law.

Glen is also a former QLS President’s Medal winner (2019).

The conference, which runs from 8.15am to 5.30pm, is worth 10 CPD points. Registrations close on Friday at 5pm.
