The State Government is moving to a more secure and advanced digital identity system this weekend, Queensland Digital Identity (QDI), which will replace the current QGov system.
QDI can be used to access Queensland Courts and Tribunals online services and applications such as QCase, QTranscripts, Queensland Courts and Tribunals Online Services Portal (Wills and Estates) and the Legal Practitioner Portal.
Practitioners should not close any QGov accounts currently used for Queensland Courts and Tribunals systems, as access to case information or data may be lost.
In the lead-up to the transition to QDI practitioners are encouraged to download current orders in QTranscripts, take note of current QCase case number(s) and download any draft documents in QCase.
This preparation will assist with any technical resolution that may be required for access after 6 April 2025.
The helpline for any QDI issues after Sunday is 13 QGOV (13 74 68), open Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm. More information is available here.
