Lecture focuses on resilient mindset

Psychologist Margie Ireland will present at this month's Minds Count Lecture.

Leadership psychologist Margie Ireland will focus on a happy, healthy and resilient mindset as one of the presenters at the annual Queensland Law Society Minds Count Lecture on Thursday, 29 May.

The event shines a spotlight on mental health in the legal profession, with Margie leading the group through a lecture on the importance and strategies for developing and maintaining resilience in the legal profession.

She will explore how professional and personal journeys contribute to mental wellbeing and what we can do to maintain our mindset.

Margie supports CEOs and MDs to navigate stress, burnout and leadership conflict. Her programs shift individuals and teams from avoidance and dysfunction to becoming united with stronger trust, wellbeing, and impact.

She is also the author of The Happy Healthy Leader – how to achieve your potential during a crisis.

Margie is registered psychologist with the Australian Psychological Society and College of Organisational Psychology.

QLS President Genevieve Dee, an Accredited Specialist in family law, and CEO Matt Dunn will also take part in the discussion.

Practitioners can attend in-person at Law Society House from 5.30pm-7.15pm or watch the lecture online.

Registration is complimentary for QLS members.

The presentation will be followed by networking drinks and nibbles.
